Now that this forum's got some nice bits of attention. It's time for the first of some member contests! Create your own horror scene. Here's some rules:
All members can enter (including Moderators) and I will judge the entries.
Now first of all, here's the rules of your horror scene:
01. It can be any kind of killer, a anyday masked man, a zombie, a vampire, whatever.
02. This isn't an entire film! Just a scene. Atleast a page and a half, but please, no more then 13 pages, please.
03. There can be as many characters as you want, and as many killers as you want.
04. One exception, there has to be atleast one death. There can be more then one if you want.
05. Add camera directions if you want to, hell, add musical cues in the script if you want to.
06. Please, in script format. If you've never written a script, you can write it in novel or story format.
07. If you'd like to copy and paste an excerpt from something you've already written or are. You can.
08. Blood, gore, sex, curse words, we want it! Make it as X-Rated as you please. And no kiddy crap.
09. Write as many entries as you want! Send in many in as you want!
10. The rest should be self-explanatory. Have fun!
Now to some rules on entering:
After writing your scene send it to me as a persenal message. I'll copy and pase it, and save it.
If you don't know how to send a personal message, click on my profile, and look at where it says "View Profile" beside it should be send personal message.
No worries, I'll read every entry. Please, enter it in before September 15. The winner will be chosen soon after that, after I'm done judging and reading every entry.
Don't start jumping for joy, no prize is won. Maybe just the honor of getting a topic that says "(BLANK) WINS HORROR SCENE CONTEST).
Once again, the rest is self explanitory. And P.S., here's my example of a scene:
Annie and John, two pretty young
lovers, are in their car making out.
Suddenly Annie hears a scatching
noise coming from the bushses. She
jumps off John, and looks around
the trees filled area. Suddenly
a layer of fog, slowly surrounds
the car, and the creepy trees.
John
What is it baby?
Annie still looks around the
area.
Annie
I don't know, it was a noise.
Suddenly a certain bush, not too far
from the car, catches her eye. She
notices a grey, wrinkily decapitating
FOOT! It moves back into the
bushes. Annie screams. John stands
up also shocked.
John
What baby?! What?!
Annie
Theres someone in the woods!
A large "uhhhhhhhh" maybe 2 meters
away. Annie does another loud scream.
Annie
WHAT IS THAT?!
John, stands up, and hops out of
the car. He realizes Annie isnt making
this up. He grabs a crowbar from
the backseat and travels into the
woods.
John moves some trees and sees a
dark shadow, slowly walking through
the woods, travelling away from the
car. The black figure does another loud
"uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"
Annie, is in the distance, watching even
more carefully now after hearing a second
grown.
Annie
John, are you OK?! Be
careful!
John, moves through the tree, walking
up behind the figure. John steps on a twig,
the figure stops. John, is getting a
little scared. He pulls out a flashlight from
his jacket and shines it on the back of the
creature.
It reveals that it is a 50 year old man, dressed
in a suit. The man has a little bit of white hair,
but besides that he has no hair.
John
Hey buddy! Turn around!
The man, slowly turns around and does a third
"uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" The flashlight reveals
a decapitating, completly grey face, with one
eye hanging out of an eye socket.
John
Oh shit! Oh fuck! Oh
shit! Fucker! Man are
you OK?
The man slowly begins talking step
after step, in a very scary and creepy
way. John keeps his flashlight on the
man, as he walks closer and closer to
John.
John
Listen man, stap back! All
right, seriously, I'm not afraid
to use this OK!
The man reaches infront of John, and
grabs his shoulder trying to take a bite
out of his neck.
John pulls the man back, and without taking
a moment to think about it, he sticks the crow
bar through the mans head. The man slowly
falls on his back to the ground. A owl is heard
around the forest doing a "Hoot."
John takes deep breath after deep
breath. Annie is behind him, starring
at him shocked. She saw everything
that happened, yet she didn't that this
man was a evil flesh eating zombie.
She thought it was just some bum,
passing through the woods.
John turns around, starring at her.
John
Annie.
Annie slowly walks forward, John
shines the light on her face, for she
is walking in a simillar way as the man.
Annie has a big bite of blood taken out
of her neck. John gasps in terror.
John
Annie no!
Three other zombies, slowly walk behind her,
falling into the light of the flashlight, the woods,
in the backround is pitch black. He can't
shine his light everywhere, these things may
be every where. John pulls the crowbar out
of the mans head.
John (to himself)
What the fuck is going on here?
A zombie jumps behind John and bites him
in the shoulder, John does a large scream
and drops his flashlight.
Black screen.
END SCENE
