I voted 8. I think it was great, and my favourite aspects were that it was English (  ) & the comedy parts. But I expected it to be funnier than it was, so that let me down a bit. & also the bit where he had to shoot his mum, that was sorta heavy for a comedy. but apart from that, I liked it. |

8/10 too. The camera work is great, the dialogue is great, and just about everything was perfect. But just isnt my favorite movie ever

Lol, I guess I'll list my main two reasons I love this movie:
01.There is no zombie comedy. I mean, the whole zombie element of the movie is infact SCARY, the comedy just come from what the characters do and say. None of the comedy in the movie relies on a zombie tripping over a stick, and falling down (sorta like the Return of the Living Dead movies) but the zombie point of the movie is all about horror. Just the characters are funny. And...
02. The movie is not a parody of zombie movies, people just think it is a parody because Shaun rymes with Dawn. The movie is basically what is says it is, a 'Zombie Comedy.' Not a zombie comedy making fun of other zombie movies (aka zombie movie parody) it never makes fun of any other zombie movies. (Well makes references to other zombie movies, but only meant to be funny to the real Zombie movie Geek). I can a million other reasons why this movie is so great, lol. Like the ones said above, and the fact that how much it stays true to the genre of zombie movies, even though it's a comedy, etc. It's just basically, this is How Zombie Comedy's should be done.

Why?It's fuckin funny. Simon Pegg is awesome in this movie, along with Nick Frost. The 2 are brilliant.
