Is it just me or when people right a script do they have a hard time coming up with names for the characters?
Because I have a hell of a time with it

Is it just me or when people right a script do they have a hard time coming up with names for the characters? Because I have a hell of a time with it I guess it is at some point. First names is easy, well for me atleast cause people in my scripts got fucking names like "Ted, Bob, John" and shit. But when it comes to last names (rarely my characters have them) I find it really difficult. |

I have problems with first names even. Like they just dont seem right to me. They dont sound right and they sound average.
The best name I even had was Deke.

I really just pick random common names. It can be seen in the screenplay I'm working on right now (it's called "Warrior Motors" about a group of "car detectives" I really love it, some of my wittiest dialouge I've written)
And the characters are: Jack, Bill, Jon and Ted. Truley just completely common names that I pulled out of the blue (as can be seen).
