Before Shaun of the Dead, Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson [Who Plays Yyvonne in SOTD] had a tv show running on BC, intitled "Spaced." About to friends, renting a "couples only" flat, but with doing so have to pretend to be a couple.
Tim, played by Simon Pegg and Daisy, played by Jessica Stevenson, are the two flate owners, Tim is a skater boy working at a comic book shop while trying to publish his own adventure comic of his own "The Bear." Daisy, is an un-employed wanna be journalist, who has only one fear - work. And her one enjoyment, to stay home and telling herself that she should try to go to work.
The show also follows Tim's best friend Mike, played by Nick Frost, and Daisy's best friend Twist, played by Katy Carmichael. Mike is a gun loving, gernades loving wanna be soldier, but it would take alot of writing to get into his story. Twist, is a fasion designer and is often annoying and becomes lovers with Brian, played by Mark Heap, the twisted painter living downstairs from Tim and Daisy, and also use to pay rent by having sex with the flat owner Marsha, played by Julia Deaken, a quiet old, alchohol loving woman. "Spaced" is about their adventures in the flat.
