The Pause

I was talking to my cousin the other day about the pauses in zombie movies. There in every one of them, and you all know what I'm talking about. The pause before they say a word representing a zombie.

"We need to lock the doors before one of those... (pause) things get in."

"It was one of those... (pause) people that bit her."

Yeah they really do, lol. I never thought of that before.

[Zombie Killer]

It's a must need for any zombie movie. It shows how they know what they are, but they just dont want to say the word Zombie

It's like that line in LOTD, at the beginning:

"There not your friends and neighbors, not any more."
